Project description
Teachers for Gaza is a project supporting Palestinian children and schools affected by the conflict. Shortly after the assault began, very few were willing to speak up in favor of respect for human rights and international law. On Instagram I came across a teacher who had decided to fight against the silence of her colleagues and institutions. I offered to help her free of charge by creating a landing page for a petition and basic graphic templates for social media (which she and her collaborators now use independently). Not many have Myriam’s courage to speak out publicly for such a just cause — yet one so opposed and so often misinterpreted in bad faith. We have since converted the site into a WordPress-based blog so the expanded group can talk about their initiatives and manage it on their own.
